Internship Opportunities (Fall 2008 and Spring 2009)
As advocates for cultural heritage preservation, study, interpretation and education, Brockington and Associates is pleased to offer an internship program for advanced college students in archaeology and allied fields. Our internship program will offer formalized training in cultural resources management to future professionals. Brockington internships are one new way to contribute to our clients' success through involvement in education and community outreach. Internship opportunities will be offered through each of our branch offices in Atlanta, Charleston, Jacksonville, Pensacola and Elizabethtown, Kentucky. In partnership with local and regional colleges and universities, we will be cultivating future archaeological, historic preservation, and cultural resources consulting professionals with the highest standards in service, research, and professional integrity.

Internship Opportunities offered in Fall 2008 and Spring 2009
Internship opportunities are available throughout the academic year for undergraduates enrolled in their junior or senior years. These internships are intended to fulfill academic credit, arranged in conjunction with individual applicant's university department. Application essays should include precise dates for the proposed internship and number of hours per week the applicant is able to work. Applications should be made at least 6 weeks prior to the proposed starting date. Non-credit internships during the academic year can also be arranged. How to Apply
Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Electronic applications are not accepted. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. All materials should be sent in one envelope.
A typed application should include the following:
- Applications form (PDF). Please download, print, and complete this application form and include it with the rest of the application materials.

- One written academic recommendation, plus the name and contact information of one additional reference
- Official college or university transcripts
- An essay (maximum 500 words) describing your career goals, interest in archaeology, history, historic preservation or cultural resources management and reasons for applying.
After an initial review of applications, a select number of students will be invited for an interview.
