Ms. Autumn DuBois (M.A. Candidate, Northern Arizona University) has been an archaeological technician with Brockington and Associates since February 2007. She received her Bachelors degree at the University of North Florida where she focused on Southeastern Native Americans and religious studies. Ms. DuBois is currently completing her Masters thesis, Museum Representations of Extinct Native American Cultures in Northeast Florida: A Critical Review, which focuses on Public Archaeology, critical theory, and museology. Her thesis case study involves the Timucuan of Northeast Florida. Ms. DuBois’ archaeological interests include Public Archaeology, museums, religions, NAGPRA, and gender. Ms. DuBois’ experience includes field work in the Southeast, Southwest, and a Paleoethnobotany internship. Ms. DuBois is currently assigned to our Jacksonville area office.
