Jessica Allgood

Ms. Jessica L. Allgood, Project Manager, has been employed in Cultural Resource Management since 2001. During this period, she has supervised and/or participated in the successful completion and documentation of approximately 100 Phase I, II, and III archaeological projects in the Southeast region of the United States. Ms. Allgood is a Registered Professional Archaeologist, a member of the American Archaeological Institute of America, and the Kentucky Organization of Professional Archaeologists.

Ms. Allgood specializes in the analysis of faunal remains from archaeological sites. She has served as zooarchaeologist for many large mitigation projects including those in Jamaica, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, the Everglades, the East Coast of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Northeast Missouri, and Kentucky. Her research includes both prehistoric and historic subsistence studies. In addition, Ms. Allgood has participated in several public outreach projects, including the archaeology of a one room colored school house with students from Caldwell County Elementary School in Fredonia, Kentucky as part of a "Save Our History" grant from the History Channel. In addition, Ms. Allgood has experience in lithic analysis.
