Mr. Jim Pritchard (B.A., Millsaps College; M.A.S., University of Canberra) is a Vice President of Brockington and Associates and head of its Kentucky office. He is an archaeologist with an extensive background in cultural resource management, archaeology survey and excavation, mitigation, proposals, and research design. Mr. Pritchard’s communication, time management, and problem solving skills have helped him execute complex and time-sensitive archaeological investigations under both state and federal guidelines in a timely and cost-effective manner. His responsibilities have included artifact collection and cataloguing, research design development and implementation, building and supervising research teams, extensive fieldwork and reporting, determining site eligibility, record keeping, and staff and resource management.

Mr. Pritchard has established excellent working relationships with compliance officers, engineering firms, environmental companies and other professional archaeologists across the United States. Since 2007, he has also worked as a Research Associate of American Academic Foreign Research, annually conducting field research at the Formative to Postclassic Maya site of Cahal Pech in Belize. During his varied career in archaeology, Mr. Pritchard has published numerous archaeological reports and has presented his findings at academic conferences including the American Institute of Archaeology, Society for Historic Archaeology, Society for American Archaeology, and Southeastern Archaeological Conference.
