Ms. Jamie Waters (M.A., University of Florida) has nine years archaeological research experience in the Southeast, particularly Florida and South Carolina. As a project archaeologist, Ms. Waters co-authored over fifty archaeological survey and testing reports. Prior to joining us, Ms. Waters worked as a consultant to Charlotte County, Florida in matters relating to collections management, exhibit design, historic preservation planning, and historical research. Ms. Waters also has a background in curation practices, artifact analysis, and photography having worked as a research assistant in Historical Archaeology at the Florida Museum of Natural History and later as the manager of the University of Florida’s Southeastern Archaeology Laboratory. Ms. Waters, a Registered Professional Archaeologist, works in our Charleston area office as an Analytical Specialist.
