
Ms. Shannon M. Dunn (Ph.D, Syracuse University) has over nine years of experience working in the field of archaeology. Her areas of expertise include historic period sites, especially rural domestic sites, and researching sites associated with disenfranchised populations for whom written histories are often rare or non-existent. Ms. Dunn's dissertation was titled "Little more than a winter home": An Historical Archaeology of Irish Seasonal Migration at Slievemore, Achill Island. She has worked on the faculty of both the Achill Archaeological Field School in County Mayo, Ireland and the Harriet Tubman Home Site in Auburn, New York, and has conducted archaeological research throughout eastern North America and Western Europe. Ms. Dunn currently works as a Project Manager in Brockington's Savannah office.
